Camping meet

Maybe we can get a lil camping going somewhere? like around the center of Pa, Ny, Nj, Md? anyone know any good spots? state parks? Maybe a lake? Amusement park such as Knoebels that has camping?
Can bring the trucks if the area is truck friendly, food, beer etc. Can be a good time. something to think about. maybe early September when its till decent out.
idea? input?

Re: Camping meet

Kings dominion and busch gardens have camping spots, There are some trailer spots in Md, The patapsco state park allows for both RV and tents. Frontier town right before rt 50 bridge in OC allows for both as well.

Re: Camping meet

Mountain Creek Campground Is right near Carlisle, they are laid back and the tent camping is cheap! There are flush toilets and warm showers, cabins, pool, stocked trout stream (mountain creek), Pine grove state park is within walking distance and they have a lake or 2 bass and trout stocked. Knoebels is also a pretty cool campground. I would like to see this happen, and bring out the trucks. Its always fun taking the truck to campgrounds, people stare you down and then the old folks come up and ask ignorant questions lol. No state parks will allow Alcohol so private owned campgrounds are what we are looking for.

Re: Camping meet

http://www.mtncreekcg.com/index.html I read their rules and it says no alcoholic beverages. I've drank there before without any problems. I wonder if this is a new policy or they just don't enforce it.
