project crew cab daily

ok guys im starting a new project its been built before and im sure will be built again but props go to dave avtekk for the original build...

im building a crew cab long bed s10 but this is going to be my daily driver with just a static drop

i started with a long bed s10 i got and cut the frame off n junked the rest

then i already had a standard cab short bed frame so i cut the frame off that at the rear body mounts and now im fitting them both together theres about a 3 ft gap between the 2 frames so ill be using 2x4 square tube (unless they make 2x5 ill be calling tomorrow) to stretch the frame then will be plating and boxing the frame with 1/8 in plate i have

i bought the crew cab from a local junk yard yesterday and i have the rear doors coming from another local yard next week sometime

the rest of the truck will be built by using a complete donor truck for the drive train harness's front clip and other parts

planning on having the truck done by late spring early summer depending on how often u work on it

will be using 2 inch spindles and 3 in leafs from my current dd for now to see how low that is with a chance of 1 in coils and 1 in blocks afterwards (lil worried about ground clearance with that long of a frame)

will also be using a zq8 steering box front n rear zq8 sway bars from my current dd

the truck is going to be a daily driver not a show truck no bags no truck paint job just a basic single stage white paint maybe some nice wheels and just a realiable nice daily that i can throw ppl in and throw stuff in the bed

o yea and most likely suiciding the rear doors since i have the hinges already :)

please post some feedback or suggestions as i go along and enjoy!!

Looking forward to seeing it come together man!
