i had a sanden on my old mazda, if you run an inline oiler you should have no problem.

I wish I was... I will instead be at a pats game friday and cape cod for the rest of the weekend.

FYI I think that vendor for swagelok is these guys...

Connecticut Valve & Fitting Co.

Shelton,CT 06484
203-929-6341

if they act like taints and won't sell to you let me know and I will order through my company.

ANDDDDD

http://www.vintageair.com/catalog.asp will either have, be able to make, or be able to recommend what fitting to use for your compressor.

Re: Sanden 508 as Onboard Air compressor?

and again...

http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f125/offi ... ad-215865/

lots of good sanden info

annnd

the fittings you should need to go from tube o-ring to 1/2" npt.

::ROTOLOCK/TUBE-O FLANGE FITTINGS

NEW! Custom Rotolock fittings utilize 1/2" NPT and can be used on Tube-O compressors with our drop-in adapters. Comes complete with adapters, teflon seals and Tube-O o-rings.

2 lbs. 7x5x3
44760 $44.95/pair
http://www.kilbyenterprises.com/compressors.htm

If you read into the s10 forum site you will see that you can disassemble the compressor and tap the outlet for a npt but the inlet gets tricky due to the lack of material in there to tap.

Another trick mod is to run a oil return through the oil fill screw on the compressor so you can get away from having to use an oiler.

thennnn

have veeps or someone get you this hose to run off of the compressor

http://www.easystreetair.com/index.asp? ... ProdID=449

And if you need a filter let me know because I have 2 1/2" SMC filters that are new and not in use and most likely will never be used.

if you want I can pair that up with one of the ss hoses I have kicking around here and clean my house at the same time and my folks will be happy and you can too!

I feel so useful tonight!

Re: Sanden 508 as Onboard Air compressor?

Whats this idea about the oil return?

So basically, have a line running from the oil seperator, back into the oil fill plug? Sounds like a plan. Can this oil be recycled over and over like that again with out problems?
