You guys that live up by TMI "three mile island" are going to see something even bigger in the next 3-4 months they are revamping the plant there are 2 peices 500 ton a piece that are coming into Hava de grace trucking them up river. i thin its something like 100 ft long 25 tall and 17 wide.. I heard it will take 15 days a piece to make it up there. Anyway i work with cranes so i get to see this stuff alll the time.. And that is a transformer prob. weighs about 200-300 thousand..

its part of a nuclear reactor.. i beleive it is either the lid to the core or part of the control rod crane!! saw a truck just like that at TMI a few years ago.. its not that it weighs that much but it cant be jolted or tilted

THat is not part of a crane. I build the cranes for nuclear plants and that looks nothing like something that would go on it. i thought i seen some big loads being hauled 60,000lbs+ but damn thats a heavy bitch
