That wont work homie trust me. I deal with alot of auto shippers. A DOT number and NOT FOR HIRE decal are free. Just get one. Throw it on a magnet and put it on the door when you go. No one will make fun of you. I promise :D

Were can I get one of these dot#? If I need one I need one quick I'm going to get the trailer in 11 days. I don't want to be harassed on the way home from nc.

i would just hit your local driver licensing center and see if they can steer ya in the direction ? i could be wrong about it. but you dont want any fines. as for coming home with the trailer empty, i woudlnt worry about that.

You only need DOT numbers if your hauling for money. So your good. Just make sure if you ever get stopped you tell the cop your not for hire for pulling and those are your personal vehicles.

Thanks man. I think I'm just going to throw some not for hire stickers on it and go from there. If I get pulled over I will talk it over with the cop. I will play stupid.
