They said by the end of the winter it's suppose to reach $4.00 a gallon, I'm thinkin it's gonna be this high by Christmas being that I seen it going for $3.60 at one place today. Many trucking companies in Jersey/NYC area are already talking strike.

i dont blame them, i would do the same thing. honestly i hope truck drivers do go on strike.. it would lower it back down to what it should be. this U.S. wouldnt last without them for very long

Should be actually alot more, if you take inflation into account Gas and Diesel are actually super cheap compared to what they should be. Just look overseas to what they pay. Its alot more than 3 bucks a gallon.

Now the proper wording would be "what they are used to paying".

Thanks guys. I did not know you could run heating oil in your diesel. I think I would stay away from that. I thinking about running biodiesel.

but if you think about it.. most people need to have a full size truck for work and or play.. which ever it is.. if you had a gasser that only got 13 miles to the gallon on the high way and your paying 3.09 a gallon.. as to a diesel getting 22-24 mpg unloaded and you pay 3.55 ( which are the prices at the sunoco down the street from me) it kinda balances out.. and like i tell alot of people.. if you cant afford the fuel.. you should have the truck!
