good idea.


and from what i understand a pintle hitch rides like shit, clanging & banging around. i would recomend a goose for anything over 30' as well, more for manuverability than weight.

I started posting in the "wanted" because I need a trailer, althou I do Appreciate all the input from the VETRAN pullers!

I would def. go with a fifth wheel setup or a gooseneck for that length pintle is good on small trailers like equipment but the length u want suck on a tagalong trailer like adam said go for a gooseneck

unless u are pullin equitment bobcat for example dont get pintal hitch i pull one every day at work on a f350 and it sucks balls if its empty it is nothign but pain in the ass go with a goosneck or a regular ball hitch

what is bein stated here bout pintles being uncomfortable is true as true can be! i used to tow a generator on a pintle and a cementmixer 2yarder not to big but weight bangin on a pintle sux, with a trailer that big load up a gooseneck over the axle. and to reiterate what brandt said, for ease of whipping that thing around you will enjoy a gooseneck over any of that tounge weight on a hitch, especially a pintle.
