yes. next time you are on the highway, take note of how many 18-wheeler/big rig truck trailers are registered in Maine. You fill find an unusual amount. Its because they are the cheapest, and you dont have to live in Maine to register in Maine. Its a very odd loop-whole but tons of big name companies take advantage of it.

How much is it 2 reg a trailer in Maine???I only pay $24 bucks yr reg fpr my trailer in NJ...

Maine has permanent registration, good for 25 years, thats why there is so many reg in maine. Also, you don't have to pay tax on the purchase of the trailer (if its new to you).
