I have a Tekonsha P3 I think its called. Works great for me. Thats what people on thedieselplace.com recommended when I bought mine.

Don't know if you still care or this is done, BUT I installed many different kinds of brake controllers over the years. Don't remember a problem with any of them. Just don't buy a piece of junk cheap one from JC Whitney. Otherwise if they are adjustable and have the manual override on them, they are usually fine (in my experience).

I have one of those Activator ones on my Tahoe. I had to go look to see what brand it was. I've never really had a problem, it seems like something that should just work and not something to worry about. I've towed with it for about four years and never had a problem. As far as trailers has anyone ever bought from Trailers Plus? I was looking at their line of trailers the other day.

i have a prodigy but havent used it yet just got a trialer a few weeks ago
