How do you like this external hard drive? I need a bigger one soon and I was actually looking at these.

They work great, you can set it to auto backup on a schedule, or you can hit the button to back up whenever you want. I let mine do it auto at night.

My server also copys my whole computer each night.

i have the same one and its very user friendly & was fairly cheap. i'd recomend it as well.

My current desktop is chillin.

My laptop is a Macbook
2.4ghz Intel core 2
2gb ram but considering bumping up to 4
250gb hard drive
500gb WD passport to match the mac
Its running OSX and vista ultimate
...and backlit keys are sic.

how about 32 Apple Xserves ranging from G5 to Intel with 4 quad core Xeon processors and 16G memory? 20 gigs of internet with a cisco firewall and about 100 cisco layer 2 and 3 switches. 10 Windows servers, HP and Cisco. Cisco VOIP system with 2 call managers and a Unity voicemail system. About 7000 computers. 2 Apple Xserve Raids running backup over fiber channel...

Yeah ok, this isn't MY network but it is our school network which I am in charge of. There's more but I got tired of typing.. This is much more interesting than my home setup of a mac book pro, 7GB cable modem and wireless 4 port router.. :loser:

Sorry Couldnt tell you what my home pc is besides its a desktop Emachines i got on black friday 4yrs ago for $200 lol. if it works and I can send emails post pics im good to go. Work has all this tech savy shit. damn Gov has to have the best of the best lol.
