figured i'd start a post for it...

I just got a email about registration being open since we are "alumni" as they call it. There's an interesting note on the rules:

Non-Exhibiting Manufacturers are permitted two (2) registrants per company

Soooo...alot of you guys might be SOL if the online registration form prohibits you adding more than two....but I'm not sure we havent went thru the full registration process yet.

I wont know till we actually start purchasing badges. We all need to figure out who in our group is 100% sure going. I cant seem to get solid answers from everyone. Plus then we need to figure out rooms/maybe a suite? Who knows.

Im waiting on everyone else basically, we know we are going, so we need a count on whos coming for sure, then I can start trying to see whats up on the passes, the new rules may put a wrench in Sema its self, something we will never know till we physically attempt to get the passes.

Then assuming that all goes over good, still have to decide on suite or a few rooms.

Thats at least 8 going if everyone goes. Matt is D going? Steve mentioned taking his truck, thats all fine but again if he/we wants to trailer it out, we all have to plan for that also, IE then we have to be there earlier for "move in". So we all need to get our ducks in a row soon.

I emailed customer service to see what the deal is before we register. I acted like im married because you can register as a spouse so maybe a spouse doesn't count against the 2 people. I'll let you know what they say.

I know the past 2 times we've bought badges for alot of people and they end up not going so maybe it's such that we need to make the firmative plans, and collect the divided money upfront, because the rooms, etc aren't going to be cheap and if someone drops out last minute, that leaves everyone else in a SOL situation if their share changes.....lol i dunno

a 2-queen (2 couples and 1 person on floor or loveseat) room is ~$1000 w/tax for sunday thru sunday (10/28/2007 - 11/04/2007). Their site doesn't list having any suites availble for those dates. Maybe calling they would though.

Looks like PHL-LAS plane tickets are $370/ea right now.
