? about changing a S-10 bolt pattern..

How hard is it to have a 1998 S-10's bolt pattern changed? I found a great deal on a set of billet wheels, but they're 5-115 / 5-114.3 (metric) bolt pattern 5-4 ½. Also anyone know how much something like this would cost? thanks again for the help

Front is easy since you just need a vertical mill and a rotary table to redrill the pattern. Rear is a bit harder because it will be difficult to chuck up an entire axle shaft. Anything can be done, but machine work usually isnt that cheap.

the cost of changing your bolt pattern will more than likely offset the good price of the wheels

moser engineering only charges like $35-40 per axle/rotor to redrill

Thats a good deal.

Usually I would also say changing the bolt pattern offsets the wheel cost, unless you are converting from 6-5 lugs. But there is a place called Flynbye performance (not sure on spelling, Google it) that makes affordable big brake stuff for S10s. I got some bare hubs from him before, I think they where like $150. And I believe he said he could do different bolt patterns on them, or had before. So that may be something to look into. He was a little slow to get my parts out, but they where very nice. Came with new studs and wheel bearings (or maybe just new races pressed in).

I recently dealt with FlynBye as well for brackets to do a vette brake swap on a 4wd truck, communication was awful, parts were very slow to get, but he had the cheapest prices.
