Re: Capt. Phil from deadliest catch

It's really sad to see him like that, but to hear what the camera man said about phily wanting him to shoot " the end " was heart breaking. I dont know these guys personally, but they have found there way into my living room since the deadlist job first aired. They are real people and not actors. To see him like that and you can tell he knows he only has moments left to live is just sad. He was by far my favorite Captain as well.

Re: Capt. Phil from deadliest catch

the after the catch epsiode was really touching shows he wasn't the grizzly mean s.o.b you thought he was cause of his anger they filmed .. They seemed to really catch the anger 99% of the time and that other side of him they never really aired .. kinda like that was something that ended on the cuttin room floor and then when he passed they remembed all the cut stuff they thought would make good tv .

the party in new orleans was cool . but runnin the bike in to the pole  :ohnoes: he'll be missed for sure.

I'll tell you one thing. I have been doing wrong all these years. He said he made over 100k in his first month as a crab fishermen at 21 back in the 70's.. That's like a million dollars today.
